B***Sh*t A turbo diesel runs cleaner and delivers far better energy return than a petrol engine, also a superior Torque curve ..but then us europeans have known that for years...... Its why we get 30 mpg out of our vans under full load.. emissions...... best place for emissions is my ass

FYI in ireland Tds are taxed lower under the carbon tax as they are less polutant than equivalent petrol engines (volume V volume )

I think you would see more 1.2 liter diesel truckmounts if we had more Diesel vans! But we don't. So the Sprinter leads the way for todays cleaner at $40K...put a D-XT59 in it and call it good for the next 10 years I guess?
