At this stage of my professional and biological life, there really isn't much to shock me any longer.

I wouldn't be so unkind with the definitions or percentages, but I will quote something my father told me when I was a kid and asked him why he had his own business instead of working at a "normal job" like my classmates dads did.
He told me:
"It is because I'm unemployable...."
I didn't get it then (I think I was 8 or 9)
In the years since, I have better understood what he was telling me about him, and all of the people I now make a living selling things to, and training.

The last time I worked for anyone else was way back … a friend managed a string of Ambulance companies and asked me to manage the Montgomery location. It was winter, cleaning appointments were low and I had kids to feed. So I took the job. I figured I’d know if I wanted to keep it by the time cleaning calls started picking up. I made it two weeks. EMTs (that work for Ambulance companies) are as stupid as carpet cleaners!

I can see the metal behind the buttons leave nice brown rust rings on the white fabric. Wonder why there were no "after" photos

Even true indoor/outdoor fabrics get trashed. I have seen outdoor cushions come in from multi-million dollar homes that you couldn't sit on because they were so heavily soiled and stained.
