Has anyone used a Prochem 2" Titanium wand and made it in to a stair tool ?

If you have, how did you like it? Do you wish it was configured it any differently after doing it ?

If you have any pictures of the newly created stair tool, please post them.

Thanks :)

the Devpro is awesome on steps

You can stand dead center and go to town.

No, it doesn't flip for the riser like the PMF stair tool.

Now that I have an extra wand I was going to cut one of them down and make a longer stair tool. I'll post a picture if I get around to it. The wand they sent with the 870 didn't come with a glide so I'll probably choose it.
I was going to cut it out of the middle and reweld. Doesn't look like anybody else did it that way.

Lol, I had a hip issue, and that's why I made it(had surgery, and good now).. S bend is key to keeping your back straight(except for the last two steps).. The straight tool puts too much pressure on your lower back, kind of like a fulcrum..

It's because of @Able 1 on why I wanted a PCTI stair tool.. I've also read @Jimbo cut one down too... If I got some spare change laying around, I'll Saiger mod the PMF swivel I got... It's a POS in its stock forum..

Titanium is kinda tough to weld back together? Need to do it with Zero Oxygen as I understand it.

For critical applications they use a purge chamber, but since this isn't an aerospace component a simple back-purge of the inside of the tube and weld with a large TIG cup is fine.
