I'd like a 3-foot round shield done in titanium.

Find someone who has that purge chamber - I think your shield would just fit!

For critical applications they use a purge chamber, but since this isn't an aerospace component a simple back-purge of the inside of the tube and weld with a large TIG cup is fine.

I have.. I didn't put any bends on it.. It's kinda hard on the hands when doing the riser part.
I rarely use it.
