NO, it's not one of mine. Steve T has always talked about how to react with children in the home.

So I thought of him when I read this review

Very friendly and considerate of my daughter and maybe a little too much. Even though he was very nice he actually removed my 11 month old daughter's pacifier from her mouth. I really didn't like that it was not very professional and smart. I don't let strangers touch her. It was a very bold move. Overall I am fairly satisfied with the cleaning. I can still see some pet stains that have resurfaced. I know my carpet was bad though, maybe this is normal???

Never a good Idea to touch the children.
I had a friendly little toddler come up to me with her hands up like she wanted me to pick her up. I put my hand behind my back and smiled. I said "Hello there, how you?"

Thanks Steve....for something that everyone should just know on there own....But need to be told as well. lol

I used to run into a little uncomfortable situation back when I had a portable.

I would get the water from the bathtub.

Several times kids would hear the bath running.

So, they would strip down naked and run into the bathroom.

Has anybody else had this happen?

It just reminded me of some funny situations I used to run into.

I was never a problem.

Does this stuff not happen to anybody else?

You don't need to put this in a badlight.

People are just much more trusting in the midwest.

Uuuummmm... no!

By the time -to fill up equipment- comes around, the whole household should know you are there...you do vacuum everything right?
You also prespray some of it right?
You also let them know (the adults) to make sure none of the kids and pets will touch or sniff at anything! Things could be really hot and chemicals are involved therefore We would like to ask everyone to "stay out of the way".

That's what I do, so there are no surprises- like a dog nose stuck in the vacuumline....

The main problem was women that talk on the phone the whole time and don't watch their children.

I have been extremely busy lately ... Nearly everything we're bidding on we're getting shiteatinggrin

It's comforting that a rare thread such as this , where brokum all but implicates himself as a level 3 sex offender comes along and my fellow mikeyboarders deliver the assaults in my absence.

I love you all  ... I truly could not have done better myself

The. "free candy". Molester mobile ( which is a later model than bromine beater box) was my personal favorite.

Good GAWD yankum, please tell us this was just a creepy failed attempted at humor cuz if it's not than I feel obligated to fly to Lincoln NE and permanently put your lights out

You guys are so predictable.

You take a perfectly innocent, humorous story and turned into something creepy.

The kids were ready for a bath after hearing the water run.

Just like they did many times before.

The moms all thought it was funny.

Lighten up!!

Don't you guys ever have weird things happen out of your control at a job?

I think Bob V killed a client or something.

The dude in Brian's review was likely innocent and just genuinely liked kids ...but was also surprisingly stOOpit

I worked with portables for many years and still do in the high rises and never ever did i have kids running into the tub when the water ran. I can understand a one time happening but several times ?????????

Dave you're a glutten for punishment and I tend to stay out of hammering you but on this issue I have to agree with the rest - that's creepy

That's like saying Michael Jackson was creepy for sleeping with little boys when in fact it was loving and innocent.

I've had a client have a heart during a job and couple that died a few hours before I got there and a tech that ran the 175 into a live 220 circuit.

But, I have never killed anybody yet.

I cleaned for an apartment complex where the majority of the tenants had some type of health assistance. When they renewed we would clean the traffic lanes. We walked in one apartment with the maintenance guys, and found a gentleman had passed away laying on his bed. Found out later he had died 3 days prior. He had broke his dentures eating some hard candy watching tv in bed, and choked. The poor guy wasn't very able bodied to be able to get up and find some help.

I remember talking to the head maint guy asking if ever had walked in and found someone a week or two prior when we were there. In the event they would need trauma clean up services of course, his reply was he hadn't. Felt like swallowing my fist after this experience.

Of course situations like that are never pleasant on many levels. We didn't end up cleaning the carpet that day, and once we saw what had happened we weren't in there very long at all. Without trying to sound disrespectful, I had smelt worse walking into 2 week old sewage back ups. I have a very strong stomach oddly enough.

I cleaner a trailer once and they didn't tell me untill AFTER the cleaning that a lady had been dead in there for 2 weeks.

They wanted to just rent it out again without replacing the carpet.

They must of vac'ed the maggets before I got there.

I didn't seem that bad.

The only time I've had a toddler run into an empty apartment they were followed by their young mom.

Some guy propositioned her. Even though she had her 18 mo. old kid with her.

She was scared to death and just in the area to look at apartments.

I run outside and she identified the guy.

I flagged down a cop and he cuffed and stuffed the guy.

Once again a hero.

Seems like I run into chance to help others quite often.
