My 405 had been slightly bogging down recently and I found that the relief valve appeared to be sticking and not opening - is this something that happens now and then, or do these parts get worn and need replacing? I doused it with WD40 and it seems to have freed it up. Doesn't really mention any maintenance of that nature in the manual.
Machine is approaching 3500 hours.

If you're not hit the the vac lube port on front of the machine every day for 10-15 seconds with WD-40. And once a week give the actual spring and valve a good shot of it too.

White lithium grease on the valve would do wonders too, just do NOT put it in the vac lube port. Make sure you open and close the valve manually when you're applying the lith, or WD.
