The best 2.5" hose. Where can I get it?

The vacuum you get standing at the truck, sealing off the vac port may be a lot different than what you are getting with 200 feet of hose hooked up and the wand on the carpet. You have a loss of suction at the wand/carpet interface and from your hose cuffs. You should have some else operate the wand and go stand at the truck and see what you are getting.

when I'm using my wand, a lot of times I can hear my vac release open up, because of the high pitched noise

This 90 is sold by that guy in California, CMS or something I think Greenie worked there at some point?

I would mount it to the lid.. I was having some issues so I decided to mount it to the side.. The issues I was having had nothing to do with where it was mounted.

My lid has a 2.5" opening capped off, but I can't find a good 90degree like that one

Keith, wouldn't that flow better with a straight shot going into the waste tank? Remember Mike talking about air flow and using the Y's. Do the elbows restrict flow?

Doesn't matter two 2" hoses have more inside area then 2.5 hose, it's a wash that close to the machine.. It isn't a tight 90 more of a sweeping 90..

Nah...if I'm gonna go 2.5 from the machine, I want it all the way to the tank

You could also use a PVC bulkhead fitting also if you wanted a straight shot..

Just make sure you keep your tank clean so the air flows right..

Can you dumb down what a pvc bulkhead fitting is ?
