The Dry Soil Removal Process...

The rumor is that vacuuming removes 60-80% dry soil prior to cleaning. I see at the bottom of my recovery canister that there is a lot fine soil that I cant imagine that would come out with the cleaning. It seems like it would turn to mud in the carpet.

My question is, is you skip this vacuuming step how much soil is being left in the carpet and can we agree that more soil is left behind if you dont pre-vac?

If my clients vacuum, I still vacuum to be consistant from job to job. I take it no real studies has been done on this topic.
