The reason why the stryker and evolution wands didn't sell were because they wuz made out of PLASDICK.

Not very durable for something like 900-1000 dollars........JUNK.

From the US Products website:

...By having our extractors re-tested at Professional Testing Laboratory using the Evolution, all of our extractors that were previously Bronze certified, moved up to GOLD certified...

They originally tested with a wand with stainless head welded @ 90 degrees to the small tube. (Bronze)

The change to the cast head on the Evolution smoothly flowing into the 2" tube improved their extractor performance to Gold.

I do like a cast wand head for best smooth airflow:

We are discussing AIRFLOW of various wands.

Some will flow better than others.

Generally, the high airflow is due to having a cast head with smooth transitions to the 2" tube.

Jet manifold design is for another thread. :oldrolleyes:

They are a bit uncomfortable to use with the large blue thingy for a handle and trigger............performance was great...high flow...maintain the heat...the ones I tested with the white polymer had a great recovery......IMO...a conventional handle and trigger would of been the key.........

The swivel bentley feature is one of the best thing this industry has to offer.. Cobb and his crew try to make it perform better by doing some adjustments on it.. but once you go swivel, you can't go back and don't understand why the other wand manufacturers don't make swivel heads.

they don't make swivels because of two things i believe (keep in mind i am but a janitor,so take my opinion lightly) COST AND OVERAL RELIABILITY OR QUICK FAILURE OF THE SWIVEL FUNCTION.

My son in law likes the swivel head Bentley. He has a 4 jet 14".
I can think of places I might like that feature. Tight closets, corners in bedrooms that have furniture too near and hard to get the wand in there. Stairs. Around toliets. Under beds and other furniture.
I don't have one, but from the outside looking in, the Bentley seems to have a lot of merit.

I think that's 3 things.. don't get me wrong, the swivel bentley has issues.. I already had them mail me another head because of the swivel function. I would pay for a great swivel wand, the usefulness amazing and untouched by any other non swivel wand.

We put a man on the moon.. can't tell me one of these manufacturers couldn't come up with a great design.

Zat a swivel head? Doesn't look swivelly. Have to admit I sold the swivel head wand I won in a drawing. Couldn't get used to it.

Larry, there wouldn't be all that polisihing work for the speed shops if castings were all as smooth inside as they are outside. Maybe wand airflow testing is the next frontier for Mikeyfest.
