Ok- so I have been asked to do a piece on Marketing at MF.
Are you sick and tired of all the piches about how the advertisers has that magic component that will turn your company into the next Coca-Cola? Do you believe the hype that the SEO company will put you #1 in google's organic listing? Are you buying yellow pages cause that's what your daddy did? Do you have a marketing plan? Do you even know what a marketing plan is? Is marketing that thing you do when your business has all but evaporated? During my presentation MF; I will be covering how to create and implement a marketing plan. I'll also cover the questions you should ask when buying advertising ( much different that marketing) and the responses that should have you running for the hills. NOTE: I am a Georgia Boy so expect to hear the word 'Ya'll" at least once or twice :) If you have specific question you want answered about marketing - email or private message me and I'll see if i can include them in my presentation. I look forward to seeing everyone there!

Yes, please create a section on your FAILURES.

A dirty dozen list on your worst advertising adventures, groupon, grocery receipt ads, restaurant menus, gives us the worst experiences. Although some of those may have worked for you...
I think we can learn from failure as much as success, if not more.

Sure. We have locations in Atlanta, Tampa, and Orlando. We have 2 more markets about to spring up in 2013. Likewise, we are working onstarting to sell franchises in 3rd-4th quarter of 2013. As of yesterday, we have completed a little over 45,000 carpet, tile, air duct jobs for 2012. The primary fucntion of my company is to use our marketing machine to get jobs. My position in the company now is primarily growth/development, maintaining our BIG PICTURE, and lots of coaching.

I imagine you'll be bringing your tool box/first aid kit for your class right?

Why not bring your new rig and hold part of the lecture beside your own van?

I was checking NYNY but there was a good deal with Luxor, flight and hotel for $935, taxes in. Don't know exactly how it broke down but my flight was going to be $6-700. Apparently there is still a "hotel fee" to pay $18/night which every hotel is charging. There is the shuttle train that runs from Excaliber thru to Mandalay Bay so it's like staying next door to NYNY.

Hopefully we can do a little coordinating ahead of time for cars or schedule the shuttles, Super Shuttle I believe it is, I think they are $12 a person or might have gone up since I was last there. Any idea how much a cab ride would be?

I will have Tia check on it next week....if interlink is 5 miles off the strip....I might be able to just use one of the time shares up there and get a 2 or 3 bedroom for nothing.......pending on where they are it may be closer to interlink....IF this is possible...I will be happy to throw a few guys in there...and save a few some hotel fees.....but I won't know what we have available ......or what they have available until she checks........

Our tickets are bought. Arrive the 9 leave the 17. Staying at Arizona Charlie's Boulder - Casino for four days $25per day. Then off to the Grand Canyon. We will probably stay at NYNY for the fest. We plan on renting a car so one more car for lifts.

Nope, but I guarantee you he has one of those rubber stick on faces like in the most recent Mission Impossible. The best way to see for yourself is grab the nose and pull straight out and then twist from the left to right. Hillary Clinton wore one while testifying yesterday. She looks like hell in person.

I'm coming. I finally made the decision that I'm going to be there. I think this will be by far the best fest so far. My last one was 07 I think the last one at mikes home base.

I can't wait to hear from all the guys that make this industry happen.
Well see you all there.
