Can't exactly conceal my Springfield XD 45 and feel comfortable in a custy's home, if someone saw i'm sure they'd flip

I would never wear a weapon in custys home. I also would delete the post before your competition starts advertising you carry a loaded gun into homes

Just ignore the people from the east coast.

Personally I carry a kimber ultra carry II in a crossbreed supertuck, some days a ruger lcp and sometimes my xd 45 tactical.

Carry on.

to each his own. I am just saying I wouldn't and if I saw anyone packing in my house with my kids would be escorted out quickly.

So carry your loaded gun mr steam and rhino, exercise your rights. I wasn't commenting on the right to carry but as a business model. If you are afraid to go into a home then change your business.

Vincent he obviously saw something wrong with carrying because he mentioned a customer freaking

Just to be clear vincent you have no problem carrying a loaded weapon into a customers home

Lots of cleaners here in Utah carry. Weapon of choice for work is the lcp. I keep a xd .45 in my desk, a mosin in the corner and in the shop', wife carry a lcp or a sw .38 depending on the purse TW carrys a .22 mag revolver. Looks like a pocket knife in his front pocket. That one might be a good choice. When you come down check it out. I'm thinking of getting one to.

That is the point of concealed carry is that no one knows that its there. And as far as a business model, its like Chris rock would say, its like insurance, incaseshithappens.

Dont carry everyday but when l do l carry a Kahr PM-40... Great little gun thats only 5.25 inches in length. Want to get a Kahr P380 - its less than 5 inches and only .75 thick - ultimate concealment. Also like to have a Seecamp .32 or .380...

My question is......if you have a C&C permit, such as in Ohio, can you visably carry that weapon in full view?? As in a holster.??

In AZ you could always carry a firearm if it was in plain sight. You could get a CCW permit for conceal carry. I law was just past here, now everyone (people who can legally own guns) can carry concealed without the need for a CCW. You are only legal on private property with the owner's permission. Carrying a firearm into a customer's house without their permission/knowledge is against the law in AZ.

I agree with Greg.

I'm a strong 2nd amendment supporter but what is it with some of you? How about a little customer respect You're in their home. I wouldn't bring political or religious literature let alone a gun.

2nd amendment rights, let me setup a portable DVD player in your front room with your wife and kids watch raunchy porn flicks and tout "1st amendment rights"

IF you feel the need to carry at work get a goddamlockbox .... keep it locked in the van and out of the custy's home !

Some of you guys are acting like I'm gonna pistol whip a homeowner, tie them down and call a filthy whore and then rob them for not having their carpet cleaned sooner. Good hell. If You don't get it I guess you Just don't get it.

It has nothing to do with you being violent. If you don't know enough about legal gun owners as probably being the least violent you better research.

You are going into peoples homes, their castle, their American Dream with an assault weapon. You take the power away from anyone when you are armed and personally I find it offensive if someone showed up in my home armed and I would escort them out. You should know a gun is intimidation when there is an exchange of services and money, whether you hide it or not. If you are armed and have no problem with why conceal it?

I plan on pulling an ad in Vincents local newspaper and Ryans letting them know they may have an armed carpet cleaner in town and specifically name their companies because they arte proud to carry and have no problem with it.

I don't think a cleaner should ever carry a gun into a customers home, but there is nothing wrong with having one for commercial late night work, rentals, driving from the bank etc. I have been in two situatioins where if I had a gun there would be two dead crack heads. Memphis is just a different atmosphere. I need to carry a gun. I turn down jobs all the time because it is not worth the risk.

that wasn't the question Dave. The questions are why conceal if you believe in it? and If you have no problem with it why not let everyone know? What are you ashamed of?

I believe in the right to carry and it is alot tougher to be armed where I am but I can carry. I would understand locked in the van. I don't when I am doing business unless it was a huge deposit (mondays) when I ran restaurants and it was to defend against scum on the street not my customers whether section 8 or not

I seldom agree with Greg, but on this one I'm 100% in agreement, their is a place and a purpose, but not in a client's home.

arguably none better in the "mouse gun" category .

"Mouse gun" = very small autos like the Ruger LCP, Kel-Tec PTA3,

you guys pocket carrying, I hope you're carrying in a pocket holster.
if not, you're asking for a negligent discharge .
Notice I did NOT say "accidental" discharge

there are several good pocket holsters on the market.
They're reasonably inexpensive too.
if you don't have one, GET ONE and USE IT!

.if you have a C&C permit, such as in Ohio, can you visably carry that weapon in full view?? As in a holster.?

RW, open carry is and always has been legal in Ohio for anyone that can legally own a firearm
with or WITHOUT a CC permit..
you only need a CC permit to carry "concealed"
whether or not it's "wise" to open carry in public is a whole 'nother matter.

Can't exactly conceal my Springfield XD 45 and feel comfortable in a custy's home, if someone saw i'm sure they'd flip

personally, I'm not a big fan of mouse guns
But those are the pistols that are easiest for the most discrete concealment.
If that's what you choose, just be sure you shoot enough ammo thru it to "know" it's reliable.
That means shooting it a "minimum" of 150 rounds with ZERO malfunctions .
Once you shot 150 rnds of target ammo, don't ASSume if will shoot personal defense hollow point (HP) ammo.
What ever you carry in the pistol, that " specific " brand and bullet style (not all HP's are the same) has to be shot to check for reliable feed...a bare minimum of 25 rnds and preferably 50+ on top of your 150 of range/target fodder
Just cause it feeds Remington Gold Sabers, does NOT mean it will feed Speer Gold Dots
(both are high quality personal defense rounds, BTW)

gregg it is the law..i must conceal my gun..i would rather side arm it
but i cant i will go to jail.
not ashamed of anything other than the fact that more people do protect them selves
and rely on someone else to do it. no one will protect me or my family like i will i can promise you that.
i would NEVER EVER leave my weapon in the van locked or not because that would be crazy..
it is too easy for someone to break into it and steal your gun, besides what good is it going to do you
if you have to go past the bad guy to get the very thing that can save your or someone elses life?
i believe if someone is scared of guns or does not shoot on a regular basis they should not carry because they
will be more threat to themselves than the bad guy.

I guess we see this diffrently. I don't condone carrying a gun into someone elses home, ever. You do
I feel very strongly of the peoples rights to bear arms especially in todays environment with so many people in our country against us, including elected officials. I wouldn't bring it with me to my job. I actually fired a person for bringing a weapon to work when I ran restaurants. He showed it to some people and people were freaked out and I let him go and it was upheld "for cause"
