Mine did that this week and it only needed a little adjustment. The float was going too far down when the tank was empty and was getting hung up and wouldn't pop back up when I filled the tank. There was an easy adjustment bolt on the arm of the float that took care of it.

I had the issue last week. I use a dema float. Very reliable but when they go, they just go. I like the idea of an overflow hose. Keeps it out of the van at least.
