All that money for crappy healthcare and it won't cover acupuncture (because it's not a proven remedy even though it's been around 5000 years) massage or colonics. I'm not plugging that 20% donut hole in Medicare with a $170 per month payment because I don't want crappy US healthcare at any cost. I'll use it for maintaining health instead.

So where and how did you find these people?
Head Hunter, word of mouth, Indeed, Zip Recruiting?
You Tube?
On Zee's guy? I can top that! New guy spent all morning training and went to lunch with the crew leader. They come to a stop light and he asks to be let out, he quit. The crew leader said hey you have a Chavez shirt. He pulled it off and tossed it in the truck.![]()
I’m trying to hire right now. I got a bunch of applications, weeded through them, sent the ones who passed the first round an email with five prescreening questions. So far I’ve received three responses out of fourteen and only one of the three answered the questions. One guy responded with “I’d rather meet you in person” and another said “yes, I’m still interested.” The one who answered the questions missed one, but he might get an interview, I’m not sure yet. If you can’t read a short email and reply as you were asked, how will you follow directions and pay attention to detail when on the job?
I have a BS degree and the better part of a master’s...and way more student loan debt than it was worth. I work for a dentist and for Scott and I do use my degree a little bit, but I wasted a lot of time and money.
Health care in this country is a jokeI got the EOB in the mail today for my IVF treatment and it says they billed my insurance $14,000, my insurance discount was $10,000, they paid the dr $4,000, and I owe 22 cents. My primary function at the dentist office where I work is to do insurance and billing. That $10,000 discount is a savings to me, sure, but the excellent medical team that took care of me received $10,000 less than they would have if I was a self-pay patient. The money they had to write off does nothing to help them pay salaries, utility bills, buy new equipment, etc. That $10,000 is money the insurance company didn’t have to pay out and some very talented people aren’t adequately compensated. The whole system is screwy

My HsA max contribution is $6750
Barely covers my yearly out of pocket
You're correct It's insane Ron
Sounds like SaigerGood luck! Hope you have better success than we have had. It's so difficult finding just the right balance in a technician. We interviewed for a tech position last week. The candidate was as you mentioned over zealous. He walked in speaking very loud and just seemed as if he doesn't have an indoor voice.
Unfortunately he is the best we have seen in recent weeks but he has too much personality to send in people's homes or businesses. He would make a great construction worker.
We did hire a woman and she worked 4 days but missed today. Sick! ??![]()
Maybe some color correction glasses for the pizza kid and a raise.
The only real way to know is on the job.
Do they need to be told everything?
Are they already doing things that are getting in your way and out of the normal order of things?
How do they handle direction?
Good Attitude...can fix the rest.

I'm walking through the hotel lobby and all of a sudden I see the new guy without his shirt on.....

No. That would've been even worse.
Post his picture, I'll tell you if he'll last...
