I got a call from a manager of a complex that I clean. I was very clear with her that I won’t clean occupied units and to never referr me to the tenants. Its just too hard dealing with this place due to parking and the low income mentality of the tenants. Well, last week the manager called and begged me to clean an apartment for a tenant. She said the state was going to inspect an occupied unit and she was really needing it cleaned. Being the nice guy I am, I booked the job and then kicked my dog.
Today I arrived at the job and was greeted by the tenant. She was definitely a full blown bag licker. I entered the residence and was hit with a wall of cigarette odor and a very disgusting carpet. Cat urine and cigarette burns everywhere. You could see the nicotine dripping from the walls. She had all her furniture stuffed into the kitchen. She said she didn’t own a vacuum but had swept the floor with a broom prior to my arrival.
She warned me her cat bites and attacks strangers and said she would move the cat from room to room as I worked. I told her that wouldn’t work. I work fast and need to be able to get into all the rooms. I suggested she secure her feral cat in the bathroom. She ended up putting fluffy in a portable kennel and taking it for a walk in a stroller.
I cleaned the place with Prochem Ultrapac extreme. Worked good. I could not get out of that place fast enough. @laura@prochem
