I get to this job and in one room the wood was popping up bad.
We pulled all the carpet cleaned on a large tile living room floor pulled wet pad.
Went to turn the wAter on at the street to find the leak and boom someone cut the brass off the water heater and left valves open.
I believe when the owner had the water turned on it shot 4 to 5 gal. Into a tile hallway and migrated into the bedroom where the wood popped from getting wet.
These utility guys will turn it on and if the meter keeps spinning the shut it off.
To bad no one was around with a mop.
