Hi Guys,

Got a call from a lady needing to get a jar of vaseline removed from her bedroom carpets. She thinks they are nylon but not positive. She blamed it on her toddler but I don't believe her for a second :icon_razz: j/k

I've looked through my CTI stain guide and haven't found anything but I'm assuming because its a petroleum based product I could use a solvent or pro solve? She tried to remove it herself and smeared it all over pretty good. I haven't seen it but I'll be heading over there tomorrow to check it out. I'll try to call CTI in the morning but wanted to see if anyone here ever ran across this before.

Any suggestions or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks much,
Bill Morgan

Bill, whatever you use for oil based spots (citrus solv, etc) will take care of it and rinse, rinse, rinse with good heat.

With that much Vasoline on the carpet.

You might want to look for carpet burns and DNA stains.
