Greetings to all , I Know this subject is been beaten before, but what is the rate for burnishing’s vct per sq,ft.?

Thanks
I just did 4,000 sq.FT. and charged .13 a sq. ft. I’m it talks to do the job once a month. Should I go with a different rate?

Sounds crazy high, but if you can get it why not? I try to bill 35-50 per labor hour to clean and burnish.

Andy I'm in the Raleigh area and for a monthly like that I go .05-.10 SF with a $150 minimum. I do a church fellowship hall quarterly that is about the same size as your job and I get $280 takes about 2-21/2 hrs.

How long did it take you?

What all did you do? Did you sweep and clean before you burnished?

What does there budget look like? (yes you can ask)

Did they like the service you provided?

I would say 560 is a bit high but I don't know how long it to, you to do the job.

Thanks for all the questions Michael
1st the 4,00o sq ft was a break area of 1,5000 sq ft and the rest was offices. In the break area I had to remove about 13 tables and about 6 chairs per table.

Yes, I ran a floor scrubber with a green pad to clean the VCT and then I spray buff with Johnson Snap Back.
I ran the scrubber because they only damp mop the floor and do not get the floor clean properly.
Yes, The costumer loved the job. That’s how the talks started about maintain the floors once a month.

It took me around 4 hrs.

Thanks

Here are some pictures afterspary buffing
