VCT-what is everybody using

I haven't done tile in a long time. Municipal building, new tile installed and never waxed. I used to do 2 coats of sealer and 2 coats of wax. I have a 175 and mop and ringer. I need a low slip finish that looks good and will hold up to no maintenence.

With the finishes anymore there is no need to use sealer.

Will the floor be getting buffed/burnished or just mopped for nightly maintenance?



If buffing/burnishing will not be done at all or very little then try a product like "I-Shine" or "On an On" they are both 25% solid and hold up well to traffic even without buffing. "On an ON" is harder to strip thean most finishes but it holds up well.

If you will be using a high speed burnisher try something like "TrendSetter" its high gloss and repairs easy with high speed burnishing.

Barebones stripper, although not necessary on new install

24/7 wax. Use it on some schools. Pretty good stuff.
