Judson 02 rinse is double the strength.

A 7 ph rinse new improved, but they basically made it more concentrated so it goes further.

It's not stronger surfactant wise?

It's a rinse I was hoping for a lower PH to neutralize ph.

After all this time, shouldn't you have settled on a few time tested faves?

Well yeah last step or saiger rinse.

But it's being promoted as double strength.

Makes no sense.

Twice as concentrated is a better tagline.

It's still a 7 ph rinse

presumably it is double concentrated prior to recommended dilution, which would leave it as 7pH rinse..*

*Never ever used, or seriously looked into his product line

I'm not speaking for Les Jones formulation, as I don't know anything about it.

Sam, is your goal to rinse or to neutralize?

Unless you are cleaning natural fibers, or you are using a "nuke" prespray, a product that helps to rinse and remove cleaning agent residues is good enough, even if neutral instead of acid.

Acid rinses are dual purpose: They should help to rinse and remove residues, as well as lower pH on the fiber to prevent damage to acid dyes (fading or bleeding), prevent cellulose browning, or to leave natural fibers soft.

But if you don't need those functions, a neutral pH rinse agent should do what you need.

You could do a pH test reading on the carpet yarns after cleaning to see how well each product is working for you.

Prochems old tagline still on most of their powdered detergents and emulsifiers.

Maximum cleaning minimum residue!

Then they started pushing 2 step cleaning uktrapac and all fiber rinse.

I believe your dad was in those

ads in the 90's.

Today they push Ups, and a powdered all fiber rinse.

I like an acid rinse for upholstery and rugs and neutralizing ph.

My father was contracted for a period of time to be trainer for Prochem and had that process as a part of the presentation, yes.

I just cleaned my carpet at home today today with Ultrapac Extreme and All Fiber Rinse myself today.

In any event, if you do like the pH drop, an acid rinse is the way to go.

BUT it doesn’t have to be an acid to rinse, it just needs to be an acid to neutralize.

Two different functions.

You should try prespraying with Procyon Extreme and rinsing with their Plus Powder.

I have tried them...and nearly everything else in the last (gulp) 50 years. *

No product endorsement intended, just letting Sam know I use a similar process for what it’s worth.

*If it matters, I was 13 when I graduated from emptying and filling portables and cleaning the rug plant floor to pulling a trigger on a cleaning tool....

I asked the question more concentrated?

And Les confirmed that with his post.

So it goes twice as far as before.

The wording had me questioning the product.

Not the product itself.

Except last time I ordered all they had was cinnamon, I mean fireball scent hahahah.

I prefer no scent on my green cleaner
You must be thinking something else, the product has never come in cinnamon to my knowledge. It comes in lemon or no scent. Always been that way.

Geez! I tried pulling up his website looking for chemicals and I felt like I was back in 2001. Can't these guys get a decent site built? They're making plenty of money on these chemicals to spend a $few grand$ on an updated user friendly design. FKIN tightwads

I mostly use last step, it has way less scent than most rinses, works great.

The smelliest rinse goes to pureforce great for deodorizing stinky tanks.

But your van will smell like it for weeks after use.

I like to say I could have about 10 different degrees for all the $$ spent trying new juice.
And that us carpet cleaners are truly some of the biggest suckers on earth! LOL!
We just can't resist!!! LOL!
But, we need to use something, may as well try the juice de jour. !!

PC P, burst, with Dry slurry for me . ( but , still got a few promises on the shelf).

AS for rinse, I prefer PC deep clean over All Fiber Rinse. I was told, (may not be true of course LOL!) that is does have surfactants to help with flushing. But, my Interlink does not stock it and I am too cheap to get it elsewhere.
