1982 ,Butler with 1800 hours from Addams an Swett.
They bought new,I bought mine from Butler Corp...
Ended with 28k hours.
Owned her from 1986-1999.
She was beautiful with Big gold letters.
Yesterday,I sat out side an watched a company do one of my old churches.
Messy lines ,etc, but did not matter it was Carpet Cleaning....
You are all so very lucky.
God Bless...

Over 2000 hours a year from 1986-1999....

That would translate to $500,000 in 1990 dollars

either you had an insane cocaine problem or you are completely FOS

Fred, never like coke, any one that knew me would attest...
I worked 15 plus hour days.
I don't know about your monetary figures.
I missed countless days of family events.
I never stopped except savage blizzards.
No reason to lie,I have whatever time this cancers giving me.
I was not Caesar cleaning windows .
All that mattered to me was more.
Hence why Spfld was in Ny,vt,ri,ct.
I had slews of bowling alleys, golf courses, showcase cinemas ,Chinese rest,a well just a lot of shit.
Fred I'm barely 130 lbs,I'm hoping to hope just each day here .
But lies no brother ,She was a 82 Butler white with my name in huge gold letters.
An my motto
The leader in the cleaning field.
How many yrs I came back handing stacks of money to bosses while drying sweat off me.
An they never got dirty not had a clue how your day went.
When I bought my 82 I unleashed yrs of pent up shit.
All I saw were to be conquered.
It cost me family an health.
But I paid with sweat an blood .
Just like you would.
An Fred if you ever meet any one that truly knows me.
Weed,never fkn cocaine...
When you arrive in a restaurant at 11pm an your 100 miles plus from home.
You get jacked up , clean , ride the fk home playing Rock...
But never cocaine ...weed...

Love to have a restored one of those. Put a 370 or similar in it.
They're 1/2 tons. It would take a lot of maintenance to keep brakes and suspension bits under it if it carried a load all day. If it were a red Ford Econoline, it would be my first van, with a tag line, "Built to catch fire or leave you stranded" or sometimes both.

prob'ly not
Not terribly efficient.
It's like pushing a barn door down the hi-way at 70mph

I rhink ir is more the issue of getting the motor out of between the driver and the passenger seat and driver comfort. The Tesla van will be out in the next year or two and will not have the motor space issue. I wonder what the front of it will look like. The Asian box trucks have basically a flat nose and get pretty good mileage
