best thing to ever happen to 90% and great for the 10%'s too
I'm curious (honest question) what and when changed the WGCC 2%'er outlook on this?

after 30 years they determined "it really doesn't matter" as long as it looks good?

Honest question.
what and when turned you 180?

If you knew anything about retail you would know that I make far more money on my Gludes than I do selling other's vlm machines or pads or chemistry, So why wouldn't I be pushing HWE equipment over VLM ya dopey idiot
I don’t know the answer to that, but I’m certain it’s because you see some kinda long term personal benefit.

I'll answer for you Larry, since you're no longer a carpet cleaner and you never really reach the 2% level, but the reason you didn't use an RE was because you didn't want it to wick or smell knowing it would go too deep, even though you were removing way more soil than your AW29 or PC titanium everywhere. But in reality, it was all about the final appearance. That was more important to you than truly getting it clean.

Sounds kind of familiar doesn't it? But if you had hung in there and had used a modern OP machine with modern pads and modern chemistry, you would know like I do and many here that the best visual results are attained with this new system.

When I clean CGD that is pretty nasty, I get a cotton pad semi-wet and watch it turn black, while still not getting the carpet wet as HWE. But since I do get it more damp when using a wet pad, I just run a MF over it after.

Seem to be working because my commercial side is growing and the clients rave when I check on them.

I tried the hoses on a few jobs…. F that.

when did all this "modern" OP and juice come along?

is that what turned you around?

I've been using a Cimex since 2001.

When I got my first Tops machine about whatever it was 4 years ago and I became a real believer after a month or two of seeing all what it's capable of doing.

Both residential and commercial clients love it

This is the thing. It's really a process for commercial carpet. That's where it works best. Like you, my commercial side is growing. Friday I have another 10 story building to do, Saturday, I'm giving an estimate on a 14 story building. I have a 32 story building to schedule in as well as 2 towers downtown in August.

The carpet mills have some strong antipathy toward bonnet cleaning; that has ended up impacting other related methods unfairly.

175 rpm scrubbers, dirty or unlubricated bonnets, GKW chemistry, and untrained technicians create resoiling and actual carpet damage issues of nightmarish proportions.
Yeah because guys buy juice at smart and final make scrub and run

I've done both, the vlm came out great there was no way to run hoses doors locked government facility.

Would've been 350 ft run easy

Basement area that would have been swampy.

My commercial jobs dry fast!

Are you running weights on the Vibe? If not, you should… the cleaning difference is big.

Okay. I don’t. One weight? Enlighten me. What about friction?
Orbot sells a weight kit for it. The problem with your machine is it only has about 35 pounds of head weight, which is about half of the Trinity machines of comparable size. Head weight to VLM is like psi to HWE. So even if you put the entire weight kit on your machine, you’re going to be just above the head weight of competing machines.

Think of your machine with no added weight as cleaning with a wand at 200-300 psi.

Who sold it to you?

Good grief
If I sold those machines, I would practically beg everyone to buy the weight kit. When I first got an Orbot, I thought it cleaned like shit, and then I learned about the weight kit. Problem with the kit is it pain in the ass to put on and take off, so I just left my kit on, but it made the machine weigh almost 150 pounds.

You know who. Don’t throw rocks! I could’ve ordered em. I wasn’t using it as a primary tool, so I wasn’t concerned.
No, I don't know who. But based on your response I'm guessing encap store and I honestly thought the weight kids were just included with these things as they don't seem to work without them
