Does SEO even matter when Bundy only has a handfull of cleaners in his area?


Of that handfull some have not even verified their places listing or even have a website.

Seems like a moot discusion to me.

A preschooler could be #1 on that turf.

I won't knock Fred's skills.. I think he is great at what he does.

But I agree with you Dave.. I don't have a lot of knowledge of SEO, but enough, and I wager a bet I could have a website up in Waffles targeted cities in the #1-3 spot with in a week.

10 mile radius of my location there are 70 carpet cleaners in one town.

10 miles from yours there is 15 at best and just a few for each town.

Just a lot easier to gain ranking in your area.

You got to the top with no client reviews and very few backlinks.(Shows how easy it is.)

I can just imagine how hard it would be to get to the top of the web where there are several hundred cleaners in a ten mile radius.

These guys are working it to gain rank and you can see some of what it takes to get near the top of you study their listings.

my coverage area is about 30+ miles now dopey , you don't even have both my locations in view. The reason I am #1 where I am is because people search for me. Secondly your lisitng is in a metropolitan area and mine is the burbs if you did it based on population density you would see the truth. You don't want the truth. YOu must be really bad at what you do to only have one truck and be the top guy in your area

Interesting that's about the same number as San Francisco.

My area is way over run with cleaning companies Vs population. (250K Lincoln/ 800K San Francisco)

A couple of false google listings for rug cleaning.

I think Fred is doing a great job for you.

I know Fred could get someone listed #1 in a much tighter market.

He has an easy task with your project though.

Google maps are not completely accurate. You know that. You called one of your local guys telling him he has a listing I'm google valses that was false.
