He knew that 16 years ago when this thread was made.Ya Lee....ya gotta drive the new bearing in place by laying the old bearing on top to drive it home....but you knew that..!
The CORRECT bearings are sealed and non-greasableAll my experience is with sealed straight driveshafts. . As far as greasing goes i would pump grease same as i would on the vans driveshaft, till it seeps outa the seals unless told otherwise by hydramaster..

After reading all of yours and Bawb’s comments on those machines, I’d love to see a company put those back on the marketI got all mine from a company called rug bug in Sacramento California. It will never happen, sadly there's no profit in building something that will last. Frankenstein was built in 1998 was refurbished 2019 and placed back in service in 2021 and should last till 2045 or so but again sadly the van its in probably will be long gone well before Frankenstein (i too will be gone,i will be 91 in2045) please read the article below sorry i had to screen shoot it. I haven't been able to send jpig files to Mikey's Board yetAfter reading all of yours and Bawb’s comments on those machines, I’d love to see a company put those back on the market
