You don't need that old thing cluttering up the place. Send it to me and I'll send you some beer money....I have one them somewhere. They kick butt as long as you use it regularly.
Just don't let the sludge buildup and you'll be fine. I'd also stock a diaphragm or two!
That's assuming all my jobs are large enough to need it. They're not. Plus, I didn't have, nor had room to have, a live reel. It was a pain in the ass using it.I cannot understand that if you have an APO, you rarely use it.
An APO will save you so much time as it allows you to never break your stride while you are cleaning!
Just sayin'
I hear where you are coming from. For us it does not matter the size of the job because how can you calculate ahead of time whether or not you'll kick in the APO?That's assuming all my jobs are large enough to need it. They're not. I have no idea when other APO's kick in.You mean to tell me somebody designs apos that kick in when the tank is full?
a devastator pre filter. Thanks for this post. I have one in my Vortex and it's not working. I didn't use it enough and sludge built up inside it..
Any suggestions on a filter I can install inside the waste tank to keep some of the sludge from getting inside the APO port?
Then why state that you do?I have no idea when other APO's kick in.
I know when mine kicks in as I designed it.Then why state that you do?
