who knows anything about Mosquito portys?

in particular the 220psi dual 2 stage vac

Thanks

..L.T.A.
If it's 220 psi and 2-2stage vacs, it's the same as any other standard porty. Anemic and labor intensive. The 220 psi diaphragm pumps only give you that pressure on a 1 or maybe 2 flow wand. On a 3 flow, it drops to 150 psi. The 2-2 stage vac motors are capable of a 25 foot run of 1.5 inch hose. Barely. I do believe mosquito makes a high performance unit. Haven't heard anything bad about it, yet.

yep...500psi /dual 3 stage
but I don't want a hundred and fifty pound porty..period
anything over 220 psi, comes with a bigazz heavy electric motor to drive 500psi pump

I don't need that anyway
I can kick 92.78% of CC'ers' azz with a damn rotary and Rug Doctor ...fo-reel
I want it for my own home and a handful of jobs a year

and I don't want to spend more than $2000

give me some recommendations

any vendors feel free PM me if have something close
You'll get style points and extra consideration if you're an advertiser here .
But not required as far as I'm concerned and any well formulated offer is welcome

just the squirt box
no tools or hoses needed

shipping to 44412

Look up vanmar equipment in Seattle. They sell a modern version of a rug doctor complete with a 16 inch swing brush. Not like any rug doctor you have ever seen. 8-10 gallon machine. I am considering one.

It's a power wand. You can use an ordinary wand as well. The power wand really tears through tough soil. I use to have the older version and even then I was impressed with how well it worked. The old ones were chrome plated and used to rust. The new ones are stainless steel and you have a choice of what size extractor you want. 2-3 stage vacs

I don't know much about that particular brand, just the components. IMHO and experience, as someone above allutted to, it is pretty generic, and SLOW and laborious. Depends on your requirements.

And why I see little need to spend$3000+ on a squirt box

And damn sure don't want a squirt box that takes ramps or two men to load/unload
It's a porty ....they all suck (in bad way) compared to TM

It ain't about production for me
It's a limited niche tool

Depends on what you’re using it for. I make money with em nearly daily.

I can dig it Kenny
I know where Steve's coming from too though
having been a full time CC'er for over 25 years , and running nothing but TMs the whole time , I'd rather eat and excrete broken glass than clean regularly with a porty.

I'm not planning on firing up CC'ing again.
Just a handful of jobs a year ..maybe 25-30 jobs a year if that

10-4. As politicians say, let me be clear. I only like portys in certain situations. If I need a truckmount, by golly we’re dragging it out. But, I make money with a spotter if I have too:lol: For instance, we clean school cafeteria tables using spotter. It’s the cats meow.

If you know what you're doing with it, you'll love it. If it's a pita, you'll hate it. $800 day today, $400 from my portable.

I don't think Steve's on the truck much, Ron
He sends out crews .
Their production rates would go out the window compared to his Butlers

Single man owner/Ops like you can better afford to be less productive when need be

MeAthed is going to buy a Mytee..

Yep, he is as stupid as he looks.

oh kwit….
It's not like I'm buying a new one
It looks like new though (from the pics I've seen) appx 8 hours on it, never used commercially and only on his own home (according to seller)
for the low, low price of half of what he paid 4 years ago when he bought it new

I'll look at it Saturday.
If switches aren't cooked, or evidence of freeze apparent ...almost a sure thing I'll buy it

They are odd 80% ers. Get most of it right only to have hiccups. :headscratch:

Loved the big boss sprayers until the wheels broke and no way to repair it but buy a whole new chassis. :dejection:

I should have bought one instead of the Ninja Warrior 1200. Wish I could get the Chinese one that is a clone of the old Vibra Vac Portable. I made a ton of money with that thing.
