And this was after sweeping and mopping.

I guess they had a dog.

So here's the deal

I have a deal to clean all the carpet upstairs and staircase and all the vinyl downstairs and in the upstairs baths and closets in 110 units.

I dust mop the vinyl first, then vacuum the carpet, bring in the pressure hose and spray one cleaner on all the carpet and the vinyl up stairs. I use the 10" CRB to scrub everything upstairs and the stair case. I use a 12" carpet wand to rinse all of that. I've yet to have one that needs a RE. Once done I use the HF to spray the vinyl down stairs and then mop it around with a stripped micro finer mop.
All but one of them have needed a CRB scrubbing too. This one in particular did not look bad at all and as I was mopping it all the visible spots were going away but something was tugging at me to use the ten inch (abba?)...and wow was I glad I did. after the first twenty feet all the poly carpet fuzz fell out then the gunk you see in the pic started to drop out. It was really fine hair and mud. Dog hair that was hiding in the faux wood grain. After wanding it looked really bright.

After listening to their complaints about the last goober, I'm convinced he only mopped those vinyl. They are thrilled with my results. I'm the first in 20 companies to give a shit.
Today I also cleaned one of the office staff's homes. 4 kids and two old bull dogs.... Came out PERFECT.

Carpet wise...

The TEN/NINE is KING!

I'm still shocked at what I"m getting in those paint filters, even when I don't RE.

@Nomad74 are you listening....Its all about the slow wand strokes..

I really would have loved a light machine like that 10" today. I lugged my DP420 upstairs and got the usual great results, but the damty thing is at least 75 pounds.

Got home and the wife commented
"You look fresh as a daisy, HAHAHAHAHAHA!"

Some days she has a mean streak a mile wide.

I guess when people are looking you do the whole "Dog and pony" show but when no one is around you do what Marty does. ( Me too)

These people have the weekly maid mopping the floors. I opened their eyes up about the millions of tiny grooves that I can easily scrub out with the CRB.
(because it's a little foamy, it doesn't give you the real sense of dirty)

Easy...money...

Yes we make easy money cleaning up after the housekeepers / maids. It's nice to show them that this cleaning thing ain't so easy and I guess the dog and pony show does that. Even when they're not watching.

DP 420 is what I have as well. But a really old one. Handle is only on one side. But , it does dig.

Plus , got it for a $100.00 a few years ago.

But for prescrubbing carpet I find myself using my small old 175/with tank and using green pads. , not a brush.
It is small, only 13" , but heavy. good for small spaces. Like res apts.

Yeah I want a small 13 inch with a 1 hp buffer for that. I have a 13 inch with 1/2 hp and it's too light.
