Can't you get one shipped across the ditch? That's what they're advertising, 4.8. can't believe the price. That would be over $60,000 here.

This is why I'm not worried about the future of van-powered units in North America.

It will happen across the board, despite what you may hear out of Dallas.

Sorry mate, your conversion is not quite right.

42,999AUD = 31,089.44USD

1 USD = 1.38307 AUD1 AUD = 0.723027 USD

Then you have freight & customs, HOWEVER, buying from Australia, there would be a 10% deduction of the GST (Goods & Services Tax) that we have to pay.
Then there is also the two-way freight - USA to Aus, Aus to USA, which is BS, :bull:
The other problem is that it's made to go on the left side of the van, so unless you have dual side doors, it may be a tad awkward.

Hope you guys can get something organised.
BTW, the van pictured, Toyota Hi Ace, I have been using for well over thirty five years & get into underground garages, 6'6" high.

I wasn't referring to the exchange rate, (by the way I'm in Canada and our dollar is almost on par with yours) more about what the final cost would be here. It's almost impossible to buy a new complete truck mount of any kind for under $60,000. Most suitable vans are about $32,000 and up, by the time you add all the taxes, rhino lining, installation of the new TM, you're up to $60,000 and you still need to buy extra hose and accessories.
