FB posts and ads often make claims not listed on the product label itself.

I've also noted a product label making an inaccurate claim.

I'm glad I never got in it. Too much rug sucking over here. I've got a few friends that are making good money doing it. I don't know what their process or chemicals were, so I hope they're good

and disinfect it for 6 months.

maybe they're giving 180 days of daily spritz..

I think if someone is using the product as directed and claiming what the manufacturer states about the product, they should be fine

zaccally
they're $imply capitalizing on all the stupid in the world.

claims like

  • "proven effective"
  • "helps prevent"
  • "sanitizes" (without saying sanitizes "what")

are all true

One may question the ethics of ho$ing stupid people, but not the legality of it.

hell, it's not much different than charging an arm and a leg for a spritz of ScwatchGord on a poly rag by claiming it's an "improvement".

You're not lying, but do leave out the part the "improvement" is measured in nano fractions and will only last for 63 steps of traffic.

We have an auto body repair shop advertising on the radio that they will detail your car and disinfect it for 6 months.
There’s also a local (to you), well known company, that’s charging extra for cleaning during these tumultuous times...

guess they figure they can capitalize on it....

smells like oranges....

or is that a different odour?????
