I could be totally wrong but I believe they spilled Koolaid and then shit when they saw it stained the carpet.

I was going to say it looks like hair dye.... But whatever it is, we would've had the installer there with the carpet to replace it upon estimate..... If it's bad, we'd ask for a picture to be sent so both parties time isn't wasted...

They decided to replace it...ive removed more red stains than that...although that big one looks like Death

Isn't there a rule of thumb, that if the size of the red stain exceeds the size of the room, replacement is the cheaper alternative?
