I bought a 55 gallon drum of Mobiltherm for about $400. A lot cheaper that way.

Sold some to local guy, saved him some cash.

The Vortex is no doubt an awesome machine and I'd love to have one.

However I can't help but think that for that much money there shouldn't be so many things that need so much attention. It seems you would have to be a very patient person that enjoys working on things and figuring things out.

That's true, Lee. My slide-in took about 30 minutes every 300 hours. Change the oil and get back going. The van itself ... just pull it into Jiffy Oil and 10 minutes later, you're back on the road. The V is a totally different story.

You have to keep a constant check on the fluid levels, you have to burp this and grease that. Crawl under it to work on it and pay an arm and a leg if you try to hire it out. I find myself thinking, at times, that I should have just bought something else.

Until I use it.

You could try the TES liquid from ccc or interlink.
It would Save you a bunch a cash and work juist the same, after all it's only a heat transfer glycol liquid.
