So I have issues with vacuuming stairs. What is your solution?
Can you explain in greater detail? I'm not familiar with what you're describing. ???

J/K 😉

We generally gave it a quick one with a claw tool. Those cheap plastic ones ($3.00) available from the car wash distributors. There are a couple on each truck that fit 2-inch hose. Vacuums pretty well, despite no mechanical action.

They also work good for extracting water in closets and tight spaces.

If it needed more vacuum than that we would use a hepa vacuum. But we would have to know ahead of time to load one..

Pre vac well with a rug rat turbine tool.
Prespray an brush in as per dwell time.
I used a prochem uph tool with modified extra ten feet length .
Around my work belt on back was carabineer.
As I came down steps all hose weight was supported.
The prochem allowed detail for me. An utilized massive amounts of drying strokes.
Areas near the nose ,the tool was cuffed by hand to get the areas crisply cleaned.
Either a angled dryer was pointing up an or down the stairs .
Towel in back pocket for any wiping on sides or floor...
Stairs were always a big thing here.
So many cleaners do a mediocre job on stairs.
Floor wands an plastic vac paws.
Sorry but was a huge selling point for me.
But anything I would clean.
I cleaned as if it mine...
That made the cutting edge difference..
Originally used bane side trigger hand tool.
Worked excellent s as well.
Lite an never crap in wand lip areas...
If I was healthy an truck was not in driveway rotting.
I would still do the above...

I found that that filter plugs up halfway through the average staircase...
Yes, It tends to fill up on certain jobs. I try to zip main vacuum over really bad steps before using the hand held. But what is nice is its easy to pop apart and dump when needed. Stick hose cuff from van on filter when done. Less mess.
