10 inch and 15 great combo. 175 janitor comment please...ONLY time I have ever had a comment about the 175 is if they have used it in the military. Someday I’ll go strictly to a CRB machine because they are light. But it’s a FACT a 175 machine or OP machine is the King of Resi Pre SCRU

I agree with Waldo
First thing I noticed when I bought my GLS was it was too light (even with a full tank) to scrub as well as a 175
Only difference is I don’t use a bonnet like Waldope

Sure if your always doing shyte holes. Some of the homes I service are between 5-10m..... not that soiled, but they want them CLEAN. I use my 175 on a lot of com I do. Great tool, very versatile. BUT, with 4 brush choices for my CRB, I tailor my cleaning to fit each situation. Don’t always need to break out the 10lb sledge. When I do, I use my CRB, then hit it with my 360i BH. Guess we all clean differently.

But
Did you come up with this on your own
Or do you LOVE that CRB so much because it’s one of the boys club tools right now

Well Marty, actually it’s because I’ve been on the forums since I started. I’ve tried a few of the suggestions, and have found this method/combo to fit my business. I’m not taking credit for the system, I guess you can say I’ve plagiarized it from the trial and error of others. For this, I am grateful, it has made me considerably better in a shorter amount of time. It works, and works well......

I like the crb for pulling small furry animals out of the pile but love a red pad for straight scrubbing, unfortunately the jobs theyre needed on are the customers who dont generally care..
My better clients I try to impress by being me (possibly where I'm going wrong? lol) and taking the time more on the drying side

I use to use a 175 on both residential and commercial, usually with a brush instead of a pad. I find the rotovac 360 does a better job. You can use it to scrub your prespray in, then to scrub and rinse at the same time. I am a recent convert to the rotovac but now I can't see myself ever going back to a 175.

I need a break from this place already. I’ve been using a CRB for years I’m going with a 20 incher soon in the resi arena. But listen you BOZOS you guys are grabbing the 10 inch TOY BECAUSE ITS LIGHT. The 175 is still theKing and that’s a fact!!

Golden Boy
For the record, I refuse the 10"er.... But I love my 15

Edit: I would use one for my son when he comes on jobs with me. But i'll never admit it.

NOBODY will admit it but the fact is they are grabbing the CRBs because they are LIGHT not better than a 175.

Golden Boy

Ya the 175 at 110 lbs is a beast weight wise!

And I would skip it over a pile brush 99 % of the time!

But any crb will dig more hair and lift more pile all day everyday!

Ps when a carpet is so bad it needs a 110lbs ball busting scrubber!

I’ll pull out my 360i brush head and still kick your ass!

The Golden Boy is right about 1 thing: The 10inch crb...you might as well have an Orek buffer. As for the 175: Go get a black and white brush on that thing. The blue and grey diaper is make for commercial carpet, not residential. And the red pad, eh.

Give me my 15" crb, and leave the tray off. The customer needs to see it. It's actually more of a pain in the ass to bring my crb in the house than it is to roll my 175 in. There's not much of a weight difference to make it matter

10 inches just doesn't allow decent production. It will do the same as the 15 but much slower. On commercial it does look like a toy just due to the vast size of the cleaning space. You probably need both if you clean a lot pits.
