The reel won't fit next to the machine if that's your intention, the sub mount is to wide. With that being said you may be able to do it with a frame to sit over the tank as long as height doesn't become an issue. Here is a picture to kinda give you an idea of how wide things end up being and my door is a few inches wider than the Transit door. Hope this helps.

That sucks but, a 100 gallon side mount really won't be in your way and it will allow you to get the most out of your side door setup.
