Part of the problem is the big franchises. They are paying commission, giving the guys 5 jobs a day, training them how to upsell instead of how to clean. I could go to work for Coit and make 60-70,000 a year with no expenses. Just leave your conscience in the truck.

Just a shoutout to those of you who have lost employees. I fired a few that just didnt care. Slim pickins here in my hometown with 2000 people and me only cleaning nights and weekends. Much easier (but harder at the same time) to do it on my own. I can be professional and polite and dont have to worry about fixing what they say or do. Maybe the trick is to be a prick. Have them understand that work time is work time and you can be their friend outside of work or something. I have had bosses like that.
