I have been working on something along those lines. Its easy to make the lower prices work if you are just spotting, spraying, and extracting. However, I'd be loath to cut the GLS pre-scrub completely. I am working on a whole house special with pricing that would allow me to use the GLS on traffic lanes, stairs, and difficult stains. Currently I GLS every inch of area that I am cleaning. By having the customer pre-vac, and only GLS'ing those areas that won't clean as well without it, this could work.
Also,I spoke with Big Mike, and if the customer fails to pre-vac, or has not pre-vac'ed well enough when his techs arrive, his company will pre-vac and they do charge extra for that service. But he makes sure to mention that on the phone when customers call to schedule.
