Depending if you are just here for the 3 days and only doing the convention, there is a lot around the Hilton. If you are looking at going to a few of the places we go to such as John's Pass, downtown St. Petersburg, some of the other places, a car would be better than....

But really, unless you are going to see those other places, a car might not be needed.

We are going to stay down here longer again after or before the convention, so we will be renting a car to go to a lot of our favorite places....

Was a little cooler here today with a cold front moving through....

Must have chased us from MN and finally caught us....LOL

Got an oil change in the Hemi at a great Dodge Dealership about 5 miles away, went to visit the St. Petersburg JonDon

Some downtown St. Petersburg hangouts....bars and restruanants all in one square block area....

And even and Irish Bar for Bill Yeadon

Lot's to do, lot of fun, and great sights and sounds to be had.

Right next door is a great pizza joint, placed the order and went across the street to the local watering hole while we waited for the pizza

A little of yesterday and we made it to one of my favorite little Tiki Bars....right at the Hilton Hotel!

Great sitting area and one of the most beautiful beaches and sands!

We were wedding crashers on the beach....LOL! Wife was infatuated with this....

Great food at a little Resturant just down the way called Clear Sky Café

Had the Tai Peanut Pasta....Wowza! and a couple Mojitos.....some of the best food had in long time!

Met a cleaner out doing tile and grout during our morning walk. Had fun conversation....Every connector coming off the truckmount was leaking though and he could use some new connectors....LOL! But he was working and enjoying life in paradise

And made it to Dunedin where some relatives of my wife moved to after coming and visiting us onetime while we were in Clearwater. They moved from Denver to here and love it. He is and engineer and can work anywhere with his job. Still owns his company based in Denver. Was working for an insurance investigation company as an engineer for awhile and decided it was too much work to enjoy the Clearwater area with both jobs going.

Great fun little dog friendly town and where @Bill Yeadon is staying for January this year too

Went to Bradenton FL for a bit yesterday.

Then to Woody's Bar and Grille...pretty fun hang on St. Petes Beach

Crossed the Bob Graham Skyway Bridges on the way....kind of a Golden Gate Looking Bridge

Went back to Johns Pass Last night. Wife wanted to eat at Sculleys and watch and look for dolphins.....Still always a good time sitting so close on the water.
