Mine just came today, got a nasty restaurant to clean tomorrow night. I usually prescrub with the mex and then clean with either the rotovac or the zipper. I'm looking forward to trying this out. I'll see if I can get away without the mex or crb.

Put the CX-15 with the Commercial spraybar . . .

side by side with the Zipper . . .

Let the better extractor win . . .

Awaiting your results . . .

This is a restaurant that has an extreme amount of grease and grime on a very beat old carpet. I clean this carpet every 6 weeks or so in exchange for free food.

On that greasy carpet I'm gonna say the cx-15 although it is close. Some areas, especially back by the kitchen really needed blasted. It's hard to say by feel but the cx-15 also felt dryer with no dry passes. That being said I wanna hold final judgement until I've used it more. Also on regular soiling I think the zipper is faster, especially with a 2 man crew and one prespraying/ scrubbing with a mex. Normally I prescrub this carpet, this time I did not.

Nice picture! On the Zipper, I noticed that you don't have the SS Clamp around the hose cuff. Half way up the hose cuff is an 1/8" thick raised ring around it that should be sitting inside the clamp, so it's stable. The tube is about 4" higher than it should be. But, maybe you purposely put it like that. Also, as a reminder- be sure to clean out your front glide.

Thanks Eric, I clean and flip it fairly regularly. I'll double check that but the clamp is there. I really haven't touched it other then to re-tighten it a few times

I just looked at your pic and saw what u mean. Mine Musta got moved at some point before I noticed it because the first time I noticed it it was sitting below the cuff on the hose. I'll address that tomorrow. Thanks for the heads up :)

The CX-15 showed it's abilities in Las Vegas . . .

Cleaning very well , while leaving the carpet drier . . .

We have modified the jetbars for better cleaning . . .
