Sounds like an inspector needs to be called in to test these area to determine what may have caused the problem. Leaves you out of it. If you don't solve their problem, you are just another carpet cleaner in their eyes.
I probably would not touch and gracefully decline.

IMO-- Weak glue on carpet tiles installed on dusty floor is the cause.
Thats why the mill is telling installers to use better and additional glue.

Those glue spots that you were able to remove will most likely be back in a few weeks.

One of my customers, a pest control company, had his employees install those same exact tiles and had the same issue with the glue coming up through the seams.

They made several attempts in small areas before calling me. I found with citrus gel and high heat, lots of flushing I could get them out but over time those spots were still sticky enough to attract soil prematurely.

I cleaned for them quarterly till they moved to a new building. It did improve some with each cleaning but they did continue to come back.

The test spot did already start to slowly re appear. She texted me the picture. Instead of them having us try fixing each spot, they are going to replace the tiles then have us do a full deep clean. Nice 1k commercial job. Only traffic is from the bathroom areas to carpet.

Gotta start franchising. Tons of high rises in Waikiki that could use our deep cleaning. :headbang: Or 1 hour dry time.

Be my guest... There's enough business for everyone... Host lost its cleaning ability when they did away with the 111trichlor...

There's Heavens best, oxyclean, and a bunch of others who do a dry cleaning here.. I have a problem with people using a method that is meant for Commercial carpet interim maintenance method in a residential setting..

Rant over, and yes there is a lot of HWE clowns that soak the carpets too..

Agree to disagree. Nothing to say that hasn't been said before.

Maybe I'll just move there and collect shells on the beach at night to sell. Or tell people it's a $5 fee to hike Diamond Head. Is that where you are located in Waikiki? Or what part?

Been there 8 times, one of my favorite places.

yea, cause I'd like him to provide a link of who/how/which/what "tests have proven" his claim

If you think about it, if dirty water is removed from the carpet, but the carpet is left wet, isn’t the moisture remaining in the carpet the exact same dirty water? Tests have proven that to remove the dirty water to an acceptable level with hot water extraction (or steam cleaning), the carpets would need to be thoroughly rinsed as many as 16 times.

the rest of his baloney shows he's obviously a brain washed clueless mOOk that has no real world experience with different methods
just another moron in a sea of numb nuts

How do you clean high rises? With portables? Is there a lot of business with them?

Probably why we have 500 before and afters. And this of course to... only bad reviews on running behind to appointments. Never about cleaning results. Magical dirt removers I guess.
