I just tested a new machine of 14 pounds, that cleans & deodorizes difficult stains without using any chemicals. It takes oxygen from the air, and injects it into solution forming both a cleaner & deodorizer. Now we have new machines capable of producing both oxidizing and reducing solutions to clean many surfaces. Here is a video of a demo I did showing the oxidizing effectiveness on a blue food dye (FDC #1):

We have equipment that takes 7% hydrogen peroxide and passes it through a 15k v cold plasma arc and converts it to Ionized Activated Hydrogen Peroxide. Much more effective and far safter than high concentrations of hydrogen peroxide.

I have tried and tried and the only time I have seen ozone discolor something was a new mattresse set. It was dry and in a controlled environment and it still lightened all except where the mattress touched the box springs. So we separated them and ran it another day. It was all even.

I can see this being handy for stain removal or even cleaning solution dyed carpet. Oxygen bleaching is still beaching no matter the source though, and bleaching isn't the same as soil removal.

Ed was selling his machine with the pitch that it could disinfect carpet as you cleaned. Turns out that sanitized water at that level doesn't sanitize carpet, but higher levels caused unacceptable color loss - just like using cleaning products stuffed with chemical oxidizers.

I know it's been asked a couple times, but do you use this for small spot/stain removal? It seems like it would be pretty time consuming for anything else. We are looking for something that could save us time for small jobs like spot removal, so this interests me.

It will generate Reactive Oxygen Species like Richards $80,000 equipment.

Actually, the specific ion will be OH or Hydroxyl for both Oxidation and Deodorization in one extraction pass.

The Hydroxyl ion is the most reactive oxidizing ion , compared to both Ozone (#2) and Peroxide (#3).

So Larry, are you saying I can deodorize a urine stain in one pass? a stain that is not only in the carpet but also in the pad and floor?

the solution will eliminate the Odor and the Stain.

This is the injector system for a portable:
It hooks up to the solution line.
TM's will require a metal injector for the higher pressure.
The higher pressure will penetrate deeper.
