That's reaching for sure. :errf:

Killed ICS sure but knock off???

You couldnt have even posted accusations on ICS without it being deleted. You couldn't complain or say anything negative about any advertisers. I'm not talking taking shots, legitimate issues.
LOL You guys are all up in arms AGAIN because its Erik and people you don't like. What are you all going to do when the real zipper killer is unleashed this year? What will Mikey do? Come on guys John's tool is NOTHING like the zipper nothing just look at it. Mikey saying its a knock off is bullshit it isn't anything like it expect it squirts and sucks up water and you push it. Hello McFly Erik didn't invent that concept...Bunch of school girls

I had one. What truckmount do you have. If they put 4 number 2 jets the wand would clean quicker. With6 number 1 jets it takes longer. If you've never used number 2 or number 3 jets you would have no idea.
15 inch. Works equally well with a cds with Cat 5cp, or my son's 870 monster. Dial in your pressure to your needs and capabilities.

Jets are easy to change, but that hasn't been a problem.

No saying the zipper is not a work of art, even my friend at PMF says it's a awesome built piece of equipment. If someone else can profit from its success, you know for sure they will try.

The funny thing is that everyone steals ideas. Have you seen the old drag wands?
Yep own 8 of them. 5 Steam Genie, I deep Steam and the Interlink offering from a few years ago. None oc the are even remotely like a Zipper.

They all only clean when pulled backwards. No option to go back and forth in a scrubbing motion. They work well if the carpet is not very soiled on if you make slow passes. They were designed in the 70's.

Erik's Zippers are not even 10 years old. Much better design and technology.

6 jets? So which machine, besides the 870, can run a 12 flow and keep over 210 degrees at the wand?

I agree totally. But still a drag wand with a better idea. The zipper is awesome to me. I wish the 15" had 5 jets. I like to keep the temperature way up. If you use the trigger constantly you'll loose lots of temperature with 12 flow. 10 flow would clean quicker with 5 number 2 jets. But I'm just a carpet cleaner not an engineer. JMO

I'm talking 15" head
It doesn't matter the size. The jets are installed to give you the coverage you need for the size of the tool. I have an old steam valet that uses 7 jets, normally a 14 flow on a 20 inch tool. Leaves the carpet drier than a wand. There is a bit of a learning curve to using the Zipper or any other power tool. Looks like you couldn't get the hang of it. I use mine on commercial instead of the wand and I get better and drier results.

I totally understand the flow thing I'm a wand tester. Also have you seen the opening in a normal carpet cleaning valve? 14 flow is a stretch. Look through a valve and see how small the opening is.

Yes exactly a BETTER idea. No copy, no stolen idea. Erik had an orginal thought, imagine that.

I wonder would you be as cool and flippant if they stole your idea?

I sure wouldn't. But then I can be one mean vindictive summ of a bitch.

That's not true totally. You can change the coverage with different jets not the amount of jets.

Last year I bought a midsized SUV. I shopped all of the brands and models in that price range. They all had the same basic color I wanted. And if you lined them all up in a row they all pretty much looked the same. And they all copied each other. But what brand and model I chose was a subaru. I wanted it to be made entirely in Japan and be ultra reliable . Now I understand the loyalty to the zipper. But in reality I'm not going to base my choice on what YOU.....think. I'm going to base it on my own opinion. This is America and I'll damn well will buy what I want.

6 jets can give you a 6 flow, a 9 flow or 12 and better. Up to you and your machine
It's hard to explain unless you have personal experience with all sorts of Jets. I'd rather have nine flow with three Jets then six Jets with nine flow my personal opinion.

Have over 30 years experience with all kinds of jets. I customize all my tools to my specs and what I like. As do a lot of guys on this board.

Ok how's this, the zipper is the creation of a carpet god that far surpasses any type of carpet cleaning apparatus. It has no weaknesses and is the only tool for every job.
