What are some of the top rinses some of you guys believe are the best in the market based on performance, anti-wicking properties that also have cleaning capabilities? Thanks.

I do amazing job cleaning carpet with my portable.
I'm not in the mood to descale my chemical injector every year, so I'm gonna stay away from ICE.
But to answer your question on the best rinse...what kind of water do you use? Hard, soft, neither? I think that'll help you find a good rinse. I can get away without a rinse in my area, because my water is really good. And if you have a water softener, you shouldn't need one. But if you have Hard water, I think that's where you'll need to consider using a rinse

Powermax has never had a problem rinsing out...

I was going to stay out of this thread....but....I had a contact from another person....so.....to maybe save some time.....
Here are some rinses that we use...
We use for Alkaline Rinse the most Harvard Heavy Duty....
For Acidic Rinse, Harvard Free Rinse Pro
Their Premium Extraction Rinse is a CRI approved rinse and actually is more around a neutral 7 ph when used

We have been working on some other rinses, but time just not cooperating allowing as much testing as we would like....
As mentioned, there are a lot of rinses out there and most can do a good job of helping with cleaning. Some might help your cleaning style for quicker cleaning and better over all performance.

all the years I have used never once experienced a rinsing issue.....stuff just flushed right out...
There's not as much delimonene in Powermax as some would think. There's probably just enough to give the smell of citrus

Flex Ice for average or soft water. Either Ice or End Zone if you have hard water. If you are using hard water, you will need to descale at some time. An acid rinse delays that.

I agree. I've used buckets of Powermax sometimes up to 3 cups in a 4-1 hydroforce and have never had a rinsing problem nor have ever seen rapid re-soiling rates on repeat jobs.

For a lot of the country and high heat truckmounts (water hardness map at bottom of attached article), the most important choice for a rinse is to start with soft water. A few pre-sprays have enough phosphate (usually these are in the 9 to 10 pH range) to aid the rinsing process without an extraction rinse. Rinses used with soft water can be diluted more than the directions state. Rinses, especially powdered, used with hard water are tied up to softening water and mostly not available for cleaning.

strong for me would be just 5 scoops. About ten ounces at 4 to 1. I think that rinses hard usually.
I'm using Cobb's acid rinse on residential detergent free emulsifier on rentals and sometimes just soft water.
Usually I can hear the difference. It sounds soapy after a pass or two so I go real slow and dry strokes it fast and I can hear when it's clean. It's quiter.

you southerners, I sware...
We've been using ICE since before it ever went public and never ever have had a plumbing issue.
We do have on board softeners though...
But take a truck thats spooged up with hard water build up and run ICE and you'll be giving it a colonoscopy for a few jugs worth.

Most truckmounts are last step injection,
A bad rinse can block outbound filters and wand filters.
No rinse is going to de scale a machine with last step.

In a VAT the excess water from the regulator goes back into the fresh tank, effectively ICE'ing the whole system.

When rinse is needed or desired. We use Cobb's all fiber. For alk det. Cobb's stain resist powder although make sure its mixed good. Both have nice smell.
