"White glove cleaning services for the discerning home owner..."

Just an idea that was getting tossed around MF..

Rather than CJ providing a premium cleaning service for a budget minded price, one size fits all that was formulated not to include pre vacuuming, pre spray, scrubbing, a proper and aindividuality chosen rinse, why not offer a top tier experience?

Specially trained techs or cherry picked owner ops who suck as businessmen but who can provide a Connoisseur/Saiger typer service.
Tarps, corner guards, minty freah breath, with the same crew being assigned to the same customers each visit.

The security of a large corporation with the relationship of a owner op.

Offer the service to new customers who ask the right trigger questions.

"Tell me more about your method"
"Do you clean wool?"
"Who will you be sending to my house?"

As well as when a home address is in high dollar neighborhoods..

Or they just ask lots of questions but never the price..

Start with one blacked out truck and go from there ..

Or how about the truck color scheme being swapped around? Black truck with yellow font. Doesn’t UBER have the same concept? Not the color scheme, just a upper echelon service.

The market is very ripe for Stanley to dial it up or have a competing, higher end service franchise enter the market. I really had no idea Stanley offered the flexibility to do some really special things. Well played CJ!

I've heard of a guy in different area that runs a van no signwriting, but runs 2 different companies from it. A basic budget and a higher end service, changes uniform from client to client to suit
That sounds a lot like me.... I run 2 separate companies, and have magnets for both. Some days I do work for the largest janitorial company in the area.... no signage.... some days I do work for flooring stores.... no signage.... some days I do work for restoration companies.... no signage..... to be successful, you gotta be a chameleon....

The white glove idea is stupid.

The jobs are fewer

You mess with pickier people

The job is slower, waaaaay slower

The liability of breaking something or scratching a floor is waaay higher

The capital sturdy income to be able run your business is slower

CJs business plan has so much more security to an independently owned business.

So why should you try to Free Solo rock climb Mt Everest when you have access to a helicopter? The only reason to Do that would be just to show off

You go ahead and believe that.

Helicopters won't work on Mt Everest either.

Matt, MIKE RUNS A VERY PROFESSIONAL, SUCCESSFUL COMPANY..... I’ve tried to emulate the guys who have made it big in niche markets.... I’m starting to do very well for myself. I’m in a process of revamping a division of my company to catering to the upper end.... new website, new ideas... people with money like a true Professional.... someone who understands their needs...

I like my higher end clients

quality wool no crap synthetic

never that soiled but they call regularly

larger rooms generally faster to move through

average $150-$200 an hr on carpets

$200+ on upholstery even though I'm sure I look miserable doing it

I just feel that there’s so much more, less stressful, and just as profitable work out there where you can make the same amount of money.

I’m currently in the mental zone of transferring my owner operator business to a self operating one. And training a tech to dance around all the breakable vases on a bamboo floor for 4hours just isn’t my cup of tea

But the desire to have a fleet of vans servicing dozens of complexes, empty real estate lake houses, and commercial buildings while I’m just checking behind the work is much more appealing

But you do a lot fewer jobs

I’m not saying what you do is wrong. I’m just saying it’s more of a headache. Be honest, don’t you sometimes leave that job, worried if they’re fully satisfied with your services? I hate that feeling

More staff can also mean waay more headaches than any client will ever give you.
I used to manage 200 staff on a daily basis, we used to say 90% your problems come from 10% your staff which meant on any 1 day there were 20 individuals who would give me tourettes
