If you want a tool for residential, and decide on 175, at least go with rotovac
360. You can change the head for 175 effect. Light to carry up those steps.
But still, crb and rotovac is killer combo. I Do Not have a Dev., Board du jour, or not,
but I’m guessing that’s a tool to have.
What some people don't seem to realize, is that a RV 360 with a brush head can actually be used to scrub with, without flushing. You can activate the brush only to scrub in your prespray, then pull the trigger and start flushing it out. Very effective.

I like my CRB. Soft brushes and slightly harder brushes...for really dirty tile. I use the crb on almost every job I do.
I like the 10 inch if you can only afford 1. I use the 10 inch to scrub stairways by removing handle...very easy.
Not sure why you would only buy just one or the other though. 175's can be found in almost every pawn shop...very cheap.

All I know is my CRB doesn't cut through greasy traffic lanes on this shitty polyester frieze we see around here all the time.

A rotary or OP (except a Trinity) cuts right through those lanes.

BTW, a 15" Cimex only weighs 84 lbs. Thinking about getting one.

The motor is too small on the 15. It doesn't work as well with the more aggressive pads and you can't buy them to fit. Unless things have changed.

Weight is part of the concern, it's safely carrying it around if lifting is needed. The 175 isnt exactly carry friendly. Its meant to be wheeled around.
the handle is great for getting it in and out the van, I try not to carry any agitation tool upstairs if I can help it.
I've never put bigger wheels on one, but I remember my Dad had one he modded that did
