I have been laying low since returning from Florida.. But we had jobs for the guys everyday and even some that took all 3 vans....

BUT.... phones came to a screaching halt a week ago.

Guys had work Monday and for Friday last week.

I told everybody they would be layed off Starting today (Monday)

Daughter didn't read the text completely... As I paid everyone for up through Friday... She sent the guys home Friday morning 🙄

I had to go out and clean Friday... Kind of pissed as I paid them for the entire week for nothing.

Of course today, I now have 3 residential jobs... People who cannot wait to clean a camper (it's 25 degrees out) dog crap on one and dog in heat blood on the white carpet.

2 residential for Tuesday (bless the dog Whiz I guess)

Nothing the rest of the week... YET!

Wife is layed off too.. So back to working, answering the phones and bookkeeping.

Ahhhhh... The good old days...

Can I have my knees back though?!

Three today, two tomorrow.

Got customers calling me to clean their occupied homes and then get butthurt when I tell them no.
I still have people dicking around the price. Had a lady yesterday calling, (on a holliday) wanting a 3 bedroom townhouse cleaned. Told her $250, she says someone already told her they would do it for $200. I asked why she was calling me.

Have to seal the roof I cleaned and wash windows today. Then hopefully off for rest of the month. Then 35 homes to pressure wash before mothers day. I really want this monsoon in the auction. Pressure washing is easy. Dirty water management sucks.

I decided this is a great time to raise our prices.

Has been 79/29 for a few years, and figure that instead of going to 89/29 we'll go 79/39.

Less price resistance and yet more per typical job.

Heading out soon....

Have a rug to wrap for pick up that I had to do over the weekend....

Another 3 today (residential) but phones are still dead.

My PPP loan-grant is finally moving along.

Our Bank website has been so overloaded, couldn't get things to work on their website.

Cleaning like this....Hurts to good.... :-)

Well off to work I go. Just got a text message from my first customer telling me (not asking) to also clean the blinds. I don't do blinds. Then apparently my second job has an abandon car in the driveway with no tires. The evicted tenant went back and drug it across the driveway.

Time to put on pants and start my day.

This one cancelled but not worried. They’re goin to sell house as is. This the garage. We told them roof needed replaced when they asked about another part of the roof. Many added choppy sections.

In the home asbestos remediation was done. This was the garage. This place had so many goofy add ons it’s a miracle the place is still standing.

So good luck to them. Kinda expecting a call to fix it after covid19

Welp knew it wouldn’t be long. Kinda hard to sell a property like that. Just got the call today

I ran the hoses across the lawn while I parked in the street. No biggie. My point of the post was the gaul of some renters. If it were my house I would drag that car out into the road and let the county deal with it. I’ve has to do that twice in my life.
