Don't see why you'd need more than that. Keep it simple.

Why not give the machinist a simple description, like the one I outlined above; and then let him tell you how he'd define all the various angles and radiuses. Meeting of the minds.

Machinist are usually able to read a Blue print.
You can call it what ever you want. He should be able
to have a wand or jig there so he can understand....
slip fit...press fit... use a hammer.
God what are the tolerances for most wands?
plus or minus .015/.030 you can do that with a file.
I used to hold tolerances of plus or minus .00005
