Oh No now I got a Cat Odor job next Sunday

After doing that dog pet odor job on Friday I got a call from her friend that has cat odor

She says no pet stains are visible but she can smell something

She keeps the cat box in that Bedroom

Cat odor is much worse than dog odor and I made no promises

I'm considering using Odorcide Cat Attack but will probably use Just Gone

I've had Cat Attack for a few years but never used it

LESS water MORE agitation !!!

Frank Fratto, get on here and tell me what's not true. Join the conversation. Do most encaps not leave residential carpet with a crunchy feel. It's supposed to crystallize if it's a good encap.

I have Magic Wands Crystal Rinse that I have used for many years

I use it a few times a year to flush out bad stains and pet stains with my portable

I won't know until I get there and see for myself what the odor is

This is going to be a PP 5000 UV Light searching for urine job

She said no visible pet stains

When you post others are dinosaurs and don't understand because your way is best!

That's a fight when others have in deed tried and thought about it.

And it wasn't a good fit.

He who eats meat compared to him who only eats vegetables.

Be fully convinced in what you do.

That's fine, making it a sin for everyone who doesn't agree not so right.

I don't consider it a sin to HWE

It's just the Old Fashioned Way 😍

But if you use the HWE Method and get carpets dry in 2-5 hours. Great !!!

I just prefer a more profitable and simpler way to clean carpet, with 1-2 hour dry times

Thanks for the invite. I prefer not to argue with anyone. A little bit of my carpet cleaning history, 45 years of owning my own company (yes, I'm old), still working everyday, 40 years being in Salt Lake City, Utah and 5 years in the Orlando area. I have owned multiple HydraMasters prochem, multiple Steam Genies, and 2 homemade fire breathing dragons. I agree, truck mount steam cleaning works but when I switched over 10 years ago to VLM, carpet cleaning became fun again, profitable, and 98% of customers did not care. I am convinced that any method, done properly, with enough time, chemical, agitation (heat from friction), and with the help of hydrogen peroxide and good quality chemicals, you should be able to get a simple 1" thread of carpet fiber clean. To respect of all the cleaners on this thread, I'm sure you all try to do your very best. I know I take pride in my work and I'm sure that all of you do too. Good luck to you all and God bless. -Frank

I respect that. Can't agree more. However, I still know residential carpet, poly and nylon is gonna have that crunchy feel when you walk on it barefoot. Do you #warn your customers beforehand or just ignore it and hope they won't notice. Just sayn Welcome Frank!

Hi Kenny, when enough peroxide is used, the carpet is actually softer after it dries and is residue free. That has been my experience after using it for the past 10 years. The trick is hydrogen peroxide. I've walked on many a carpet hours and days after it has been cleaned, felt it with my hands (and barefoot in my own house, my family's house and my neighbors' houses) and I have been back in homes weeks and months later to clean something else, and trust me when I say, the carpet has never stayed cleaner or residue free then when this method is used. I easily can afford to buy myself a truck mount if I ever choose to do so again. I doubt that I ever will. This method, in my opinion, is the cat's meow for me.

Honestly using a product like carbonated cleaning solutions stuff doesn't leave it crunchy, but olefin and polys love oil so it might not be strong enough.

If I was to vlm Residential I would use it.

I would pre vac pre spot, pre spray, crb agitate,

Orbital extract and post groom with crb or rake.

But that's a lot of steps to make it something I would consider.

Unlike a guy named Nate in Portland a few years ago run in pre spray encap pad over with a oreck, then post crb to groom.

That's cheese

Of the Release It products only Hydrox has the peroxide in it. I use it A LOT and it's really good, but not so much for residential. Yes, I've used it in my house and that's why I'm aware. I've used crb,
Vibe, the whole nine yards.
