we have another one advertising $22 an hour plus commission.add to that...how many hours a week they have to work for some of the yearly wages I've heard touted

Sort of depressing. The thought that a Tech is supposed to earn that is probably flawed. For the most part a Tech's job is not a life time job.
Keep them 3-5 years they move up and have more responsibility and earn more or move on. Slinging a wand for a lifetime is for owner ops. Tech's will come and go.
I’m wanting to hire starting at $12hr then bumping to $15 once they are trained. Is that acceptable? Seriously asking.
Not really. It's a good job, you're out and about seeing new things. Kids grow through it, gain experience and develop a work ethic and find a better job.Sort of depressing.

Yes but they don't clean carpet for a living. They can fill in if over booked or a guy is sick. Lead tech's do ok but supervisors make a pretty decent wage for this area.Do you have manager/ supervisors that earn that living wage in your company?
Three or four years ago he was paying $19 an hour to someMike, I would ask you what to pay a tech but you would give me some sort of screwed up SCRUZ pricing of $250k a year starting wages.
Can you survive in Cali as the bread winner at That? 40k?Three or four years ago he was paying $19 an hour to some

Pretty much the exception to the industry considering there are 30,000 plus cleaners out there and maybe less than 1% are able to.Hagopian
