For those CC'ers in the States that have the Mega Millions Lottery, it has climbed to over 500 million bucks! That's a half billion dollars!!

(Put your preference of TM here....)

If I hit the top prize, I'll buy all the paid members here on this board a new truckmount!!

If I don't hit......you'll have to keep paying on your own.

Drawing is Friday if you are in one of thoses States or live near one. If you don't play at least a buck, you have no chance at all.

The odds are only .......1 in 175,711,536 of hitting the top jackpot.

except for the guy who wins

Actually, it's more like a pyramid scheme. Where everyone puts their money in and one guy gets it each week. No products or services but they give the illusion that it will go to help schools or whatever.

The best way to profit from the lotto is to have a pre4K daycare and let the state pay you for the tuition.

Lee is right......you have a better chance of dying in an airline crash than winning this lotto.........but I'll still buy a few tickets.

"You can't win if you don't play"

Why?

• It's true

• Creates fear of loss

• Creates excitement

• Call to action

You name it.

I'll buy a few...If you're really that worried about losing 5 bucks...Well you know.

X2 never bought one, can't imagine I ever will. I prefer to gamble where the odds are better.

Keno has poor odds. Play Blackjack - especially if you can count cards, or craps, but stay away from the high odds bets.

Take care,
Lisa

Wrong.....

The best marketing line ever is "If you experience an erection lasting longer than 4 hours, contact a physician."

We've got a pool of customers from my laundry that are playing.. I'm also in about 5 others. This just might be it...

I have a friend that won 26 million. If you asked what changed most in his life, he'll tell you "I started dating a totally difference class of women". He married the former lead singer to the Dixie Chicks - no one y'all would have heard of. Back in the day they used to sing western swing before they got to Nashville and changed up the band.

I also knew a group of 10 from my hometown that won $10 million. They all still work and have not appeared on any of the "the lottery ruined my life" tv shows.

As Brian said - "you gotta play to win"! I do! I don't drink (much) or smoke and there's no place to spend money on restaurants where I live, but I do gamble. On Sunday afternoon behind my laundry you can find me and a few non english speaking friends from south of the border playing craps for quarters. Last week, I won $7.50, went to the store and bought a $5 scratch off (rarely play, but felt lucky) and won $50... I'm taking my winnings to Oklahoma Saturday night and see if will help me at the Indian casino.

Joke of the day.......

A nurse walks into a bank totally exhausted after a 20 hour shift and pulls out a rectal thermometer and tries to write with it. She looks at it flabergasted and without missing a beat, says to the teller "well thats great, that's just great... some asshole has my pen!" =)

Lighten up and play the Mega!!

I bought a mega 1/2 billion today.

I almost never buy them, Like I think it was 3 years ago the last time I bought on.

Yeah, odds are crazy high, but the ROI is worth a few bucks.. I mean if I won.

One of the last real big ones was bought at a store my bother goes to often, and the girl that bough it worked at the bank he banked it.

So it could happen, ya just never know.

Sure, in the end those 2 bucks would have been more useful to wipe my ass, but if I win I could upgrade to 100s for ass paper.

As for the local winner.. She never filed for divorce of her husband, yet they had not been together for a long time, she had to split 1/2 with him.. HA HA..

Oh, and her husband, working with my brother in law.

I'm the same way I just buy them when they go over 250 mil.. It's kinda funny though I think if I even won a million it would change my life.

A bunch of people in our office are pooling their money to buy tickets. We have done this in the past when the dollar amount gets really high. I always buy into it as well. No way I want to be the only one covering the phones the next morning!!

I bought 10 more this morning... What they hell. It's expected to be 600 million by tonight.

We'll see... Someone has to win it.

With that kind of money I could put on one hell of a Mikey's Fest. !gotcha!

One of my customers sez the lottery is a tax on the mathematically challenged.

So I paid my tax.
