I have a sewer dump at my shop. On larger jobs, I use an inline pump out. Very reliable. A lot of carpet cleaners have a sewer cleaning at their homes. If you look carefully, there are often marked sewer access points in parking lots. They are stamped "sewer". Just filter your lint.
maybe 50%?

Same here where i live. And an added bonus to living in the forest is there's also a bathroom behind every tree where as you can sometimes drive in excess of 30+ miles (@40mph) to find a conventional one
Just because it's legal in your area, doesn't make it RIGHT?

It only makes it legal?

Now its who's righteous and who's not. And also answer the question as to why i call vlm a cult. It seems according to the vlm cult if you're not vlm your some sort of a sinner.next you'll be ringing doorbells saying " have you heard the word of vlm today??"

And how you guys walked on water when you are steam cleaning carpet....{ GET IT LOL}

Now you are claiming that VLM is RIGHTEOUS???

It's a good thing I don't live there! I
am not in a city, so there is a million places for me to dump my water.
Im not in a city.
But I do know my local dumping laws.
Its easy to get permission to dump legally. You just have to ask.
Its not a good idea to dump in the same spot on a regular basis though. Especially if you are on a well for drinking water.

I'm not on a well, and if I'm doing my schools and churches, they do have drains in their parking lots for such as Ron said. It is rare that I carry any home and I probably do 33% vlm 33% porty and 33% tm work. It's not enough to even make me nervous!

Just dont pollute other people's wells neither I guess.

Our treatment plants dump straight into the river often enough too. Its an accepted practice. Just be honest with what you are doing and you will be fine.
Until someone gets butt hurt anyway.
Just use commen sense dont be afraid to ask how to deal with dumping. Use your resources. They are there for you and you pay for them. Use them.
You feel better when you know.

There is no one around me within miles that is on a well. Everyone's aerobic system sprays more shit in the air than my water that gets dumped occasionally.

I have a sewer dump in front of my house very close to the street. I would open side doors attach hose take off the cap to sewer line and dump

And in front of my parents house they had the same

So if was near my house I would go there and dump if I was near my parents house I would dump there

I'm not sure who it was or if it was right but I was told many years ago it was a $10,000 dollar fine to illegally dump in New Jersey

I had a 100 gallon dirty water tank so that's a lot of dirty water

$10,000 sounds about right but that was probably 25-30 years ago who knows what it would be today $25,000 ?

I love VLM !!!

For the two on here who are paranoid about breaking the law, have you ever heard of an APO? Direct that recovery (not waste) water wherever it needs to go to make it “legal”

But just for side comparison. Most of the city and county officials now spray weed killers on the side of the back roads instead of cutting the grass. And I wonder how much of that chemical runs into the creeks??? Just one of the many comparisons that I’m wasting my time typing to you ignoramous carpet buffers

@Living The Dream ‘s video should’ve been enough to convince you that doing only VLM is wrong and unethical to claim proper cleaning on all carpets.

But my conclusion again is you guys can’t afford a solid truckmount setup and you’ve probably never had an apo. But I doubt you were ever given a ticket or fine for dumping the grey water.

I love VLM !!!

A neighbor that lived next to my parents house was a nasty old miserable woman that didn't know what I was doing was legal

I guess she was peaking out the window watching me

She called the police a few times and they came to my parents house. I was never there when they came

The police just told my parents that a complaint was filed against me but they understood what I was doing was legal

Never had to go to court or anything but for guys that are illegally dumping

Somebody is always watching

Life is BETTER, when you're VLM !!!

Ya know this horse has been beat enough. If theres ever a question where to dump or remotely a problem with where to dump i break out this thing. I threw it together with a few copper pipe pieces and a couple of brass fittings. It cost about 15.00 to build It hangs out in the storage pocket in my passenger door. If ever there's a question where to dump i use it. It works on sinks, washing machine drains but mostly toilets. Simple, affordable, done,Lets move on shall we?? First thing i built after getting a waste pump in the mid 80s. Built a new one each time i added a van to the fleet.still using the original. They never wear out or break (unless you use cheap garden hose fittings)

If you lack the resources and/or aptitude to build one and have more money than common sense, for between 250- 300.00 kleanrite has a contraption that'll work on toilets
