Last hose ( or two) on the reel, first hose off is how we found the 2.5" was easiest to manage it.
To this point, I've always pulled a few loops off, thrown them over my shoulder, and then continued pulling off the reel until I hit the front door. At that point, I start dropping loops, as I work my way to the furthest point. This method DESTROYS the smoothness of that process. How are you dealing with that? What does your hose setup actually look like?
